Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)
Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) can present a range of symptoms, including movement issues, sensory disturbances, and non-epileptic seizures. FND is a neurological condition caused by changes in how the brain works, rather than changes in the structure of the brain itself, as seen in many other neurological disorders. The two most common categories of FND are functional or dissociative seizures (also known as psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES), and functional movement disorder.
