Direct Current Electrical Stimulation (DCES) is a therapeutic technique that uses a constant, low-level electrical current to stimulate tissues, nerves, or muscles. It is commonly used in medical and research settings to promote healing, reduce pain, and enhance nerve regeneration. Unlike alternating current (AC) stimulation, DCES provides a steady flow of electricity, which can influence cellular activity and blood flow. We utilize the Neubie ® for DCES treatments and can treat the following conditions:
- Neuropathy
- Nerve injuries, including Multiple Sclerosis
- Spasticity
- Sports Injuries
- Pain / Chronic Pain
All of our physical therapists are certified in the Neufit method.
